- Joey Logano will be making his fourth NASCAR Sprint Cup Series start this weekend at Texas Motor Speedway, but third in the No. 20 Home Depot Toyota. His best finish at the track came last fall when he started from the 14th position and drove the No. 20 to a 19th-place finishing position.
- Logano moved up another two spots in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series standings to 11th, now within the Chase to the Sprint Cup cutoff. His 10th-place run at Phoenix last weekend boosted him to 11th past Paul Menard and Brian Vickers. Logano and The Home Depot Team have now earned top 10 finishes in four of the first seven races of the season, last year they accumulated seven top 10 finishes in 36 races. The team has amassed 352 more points in 2010 than they did through the first seven races of last season.

Logano Quotes:
On Texas…
"Texas was a tough track the first few times I was there. Last fall I drove the Home Depot Toyota up into the top 10, but we had a bad green-flag pit stop then an air gun got stuck on the next one. So we can be competitive. It's a tough track, it's so fast. So far this season we’ve had top-10 cars, so hopefully we can keep that momentum going this weekend and get the Home Depot Toyota up front and stay in the top 12."
On the tires and spoiler…
"The tires are going to create less stagger, but that's what's been happening most of the season. With the addition of the spoiler we will be using a different set up then we've going to Texas with in the past. We anticipate the car will need to be much freer. I think there will be a lot of teams making a ton of adjustments in the first practice trying to figure out how the combination of the tires and spoiler is going to affect the handling."
